Steel Boning

There is currently a bug which is not allowing steel bonings to be made in the Tier'Dal Forge of Neriak Third Gate located at 838, neg 1565, neg 80. I am combining:

1 small brick of ore
1 water flask
1 file

Which I verified here:

All of which use the above recipe. When I try to combine, I get the message "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" I researched the forums and the only thread i found stated to zone out and back in to fix the forge issue. Unfortunately zoning out and logging out do not fix this issue.

Are you using the racial forge?

Steel boning is a generic item, so should be crafted in generic non-racial forges.

TLDR I'm sorry mario, but our pieces are in another forge.

I eventually took another character to freeport and made the steel bonings in a regular forge there. It is odd though that the previous forum post i had quoted stated that it would work fine in the neriak forge. There is only 1 forge in neriak that I am aware of and it is not a standard forge.

For regular forges, check outside Adamant Armor in Neriak Commons and Pig Stickers in Neriak Foreign Quarter.

There was an issue where certain tradeskills would fail to combine even when the components and combiner were all correct. This has been fixed.

I responded in a more recent thread, but I am still having this issue with Steel Bonings.

Female troll innoruk shaman, 21 blacksmithing, I've tried both neriak forges, two freeport forges, and one in grobb. Same message from all of them:

"You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

It will be corrected when the server is restarted for maintenance.

There will be an extended downtime on Friday, September 30th, starting around 1 or 2 AM Eastern and lasting several hours. This will affect all Project 1999 and EQEmulator services including Game, Websites, and Loginserver.
