The Slam button appears, but it doesn't do anything when I click it. No text, no action, and it won't even look "pressed in" when I click it.

Unboon, works again

(Troll sham)

i think this is working as intended, since slam on shamans is only granted based on ogre / troll body types

werewolf doesn't fit in there

pretty sure wolf form does the same btw

Proof? Didn't think it should work with those just like it doesn't work bear form.

Doesn't do it while guise'd either right? (Not sure about AoN slamming)

Should not be able to slam with any illusion that isn't a large race.

In that case, you shouldn't be able to use weapons of any kind in werewolf form; should only let you bite? And shouldn't be able to cast since werewolves can't cast? ;p using this logic thinking about shaman pets or charmed werewolves. I mean monks can flying kick in werewolf form

Anyway, not a huge deal, just sounds a bit contradictory

I think you just like to argue.

Hate to necro a thread like this, but hoping to get this thread resolved as well as another I found here:
https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257354

Evidence of wolf, werewolf form, skeleton, etc illusions losing slam can be found here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20021220073218/http://boards.station.sony.com:80/ubb/everquest/Forum1/HTML/000201.html

Player commentary about losing Slam in those forms on sony station boards, mid-2001.

Just thinking if this search was in 'resolved issues' it may help people when doing searches. Didn't see any dev commentary to confirm 'working as intended'.

I'm still looking into whether or not ogres should lose frontal stun immunity and/or other racial abilities when doing illusions.

Having slam is an ability granted by being in troll, ogre or Barbra forms. Take those forms to gain slam, lose those forms to lose slam.

Move to resolved?
