Soulfire - Tykar Renlin

I've been sitting in EFP at the Seafarer's Roost for an hour each day for the last couple days, Tykar Renlin never seems to spawn. I know his PH's at the bar are supposed to be Plnorrick Spinecracker, Biggle Lombokker, Lozani and Tlin Bowfright but Lozani has been at the bar nonstop and never seems to run off and despawn. Has anyone else noticed this? I cant progress further without his note.

It should also be noted that Groflah(EFP Seafarer's Roost version) is not spawning either.

Ya but the Groflah in NFP is giving out the letter as if you gave it to the one in EFP....bug but oh well.

The method in which I've been using to make day/night work is also being used by the boats. So.. that's not an option in East Freeport.

Will have to think about a different way to cycle these npcs by time of day.

In the meantime, I spawned Tykar in the bar.

Tykar is not up in the bar again. Any chance for him to be spawned? stuck at this point also

It should also be noted that Groflah(EFP Seafarer's Roost version) is not spawning either.

He's still not spawning.

Ive tried Killing his PH's Talym Shoontar and Imxil TBrow and in result have lowered my wizards faction even more lol.

I've tried killing his PHs, ive sa there watching his spawn spot for days, ive petitioned in game, nothing, After last time where i spoke to a guide who told me to post in this section (which i did to no avail). There is nothing i can do to get him to spawn.

I spawned Tykar again in the bar.

Now that a new method for boats is available, I can work on a day/night solution for east freeport. The server hasn't been patched in a while, so spawning Tykar is as good as it gets atm.

If someone knows the details of the bar, and other freporte npcs/phs which should switch at time of day, I can fix them.

I'm having the same problem on Red99. I've spent over 9 hours waiting for Tykar with no spawn. I'm not sure if it's broken and needs to be manually spawned or not but I'm stuck on this part of the quest and from what I have read he should have spawned a few times by now.

9 hours of game time? Did you see Lozani, Biggle, Plnorrick, or Tlin?

There should be a 20% chance at day time or night time for Tykar to spawn. Also, you can kill the PHs to make it faster, but that's bad for faction.

Waited on night time on pvp server, bar npcs switched. Nothing wrong here.

Is this working yet? Ive just seen lozani for past few real life hours. No npcs are changing.

It works Tykar is just a rare spawn sometimes.

I recently waited around 6-8 hours and didn't see Tykar once, then the next day he was there.

So Nilbog, we can speed this up by killing the PHs like Lozani? Been watching a few hrs now and havent seen the mobs cycle, seen the two at the bar cycle, but lozani hasnt roamed off

Well after waiting about 2.5 hrs on him to spawn I finally decided to take the faction hit with those filthy Gnomes and dropped Lozani, soon as I killed Lozani he popped instantly, dunno bout you guys but a faction hit with Ak'Anon > hours of waiting :)
