Infectious spores is a infinite dot cast by evil eyes. I got mine from one in EK. The dot is curable, but once you zone or log back in, you have the dot again. The only way to lose it is from dieing from duel/normal.

Working as intended. Trap evil eye gas spores were pretty rare.

Disease icon reappearing when zoning, and not actually being cured.. is another issue. Unless you notice it actually says "you are cured", "you are no longer diseased", etc, you most likely are.
