So I just purchased a Necklace of Superiority and I notice that when I equip it I am gaining +10 AGI instead of +5 AGI. Surely this is not intentional? No, I do not have another item equipped prior to equipping it. I'm pointing it out because I want the game to be correct. If this is a bug, I hope I am helping to make EQ accurate =)

a 10agi increase will cause your ac to go up. thats why you are getting more than 5ac.
As to the 10agi increase instead of 5 you are probably replacing an item that had -agi on it, or the change got you out of being encumbered, adding the extra agi that way.

Items on p99 don't show the same AC increase that the item has, it is always higher on the client. The ratio seems different per class, or maybe it is just different based upon the amount of ac you have(soft caps, etc).
For instance, when my shaman puts on a 6ac item, he gets 10ac. Always 1.66 ratio. When my monk puts on 25 ac he gets 39 ac which is 1.56 ratio. (None of these items have agi on them which I used to test, but that will also increase AC. My monk gets 1ac for every 3 agi.).

Displayed AC is very different from worn AC values on items.
