wolf caller's bracer

Hello,

Yesterday, we've try to MQ the Unadorned Chain Bracer with my friend Estiporuc (rogue). He gave a crappy item first to reset the MQ, and then he gave the unadorned chain bracer to Asteinnon Fe`Dhar. He received immediatly the Wolf caller's bracer, so i still have my 3 crushed opals. The Wolf caller's bracer was for my shamy Gynette, so i wanted to know if it was possible to get the no drop bracer again, so we could try to MQ it again.
I know u usually don't look about the MQ problem, but for this part is totally a bug and not a mistake from us (as we don't even give a crushed opals).

Only a server reset seems to reset an NPC's mq list or whatever you wanna call it. NPC death doesn't reset it. Neither does a trash item as far as I'm aware. Similar situations have arose when I've gone to MQ things. The risk you take!

Giving a crappy item to reset the MQ reset the quest NPC memory on live, it does not here on P99.

Likewise, killing the NPC would reset it on live, it does not here on P99.

Completing the quest or a full server reset are the only ways to clear an NPCs quest memory.

These are known bugs, but I haven't heard anything about fixing them.

On live back in the day did quest npcs remember quest turn ins forever? Or did they blank after a period of time?
