View Full Version : NPC Spawn Issue: Tykar Renlin in East Freeport

This guy wont spawn and is part of the Soulfire (paladin) quest. (the guy at the docks)

After gathering this spawn was broken i filled an ingame petition (x3) yesterday to which i never got a response so i tried again today, I spoke to Hobby who told me to make this post (friend pally made a post yesterday in the petition section already). Hope that amidst the kunark work you find the time to resolve this.

I have learned there is atleast 4 more paladins stuck on the Tykar Renlin part of the Soulfire Quest due to this NPC not spawning.

I saw him up about a week ago, not sure if this helps. Nilbog actually posted something about it.

The Groflah Steadirt dude that spawns there on the other hand, I've yet to see him. Been trying to give him some tonic for about a month on and off for some faction hehe.

The method in which I've been using to make day/night work is also being used by the boats. So.. that's not an option in East Freeport.

Will have to think about a different way to cycle these npcs by time of day.

In the meantime, I spawned Tykar in the bar.

I handed in my Champagnes to Tykar about a week and a half ago, Nilbog spawned him next to the bar and he was not de-spawning. Dont know if that helps but goodluck.

just bumping bc I am currently on this step and am not sure if this is working correctly. I am clearing the PHs but if Tykar spawns only with GM assistance could one kindly pop him real quick for me :)

Fixed, pending update.

The Seafarer's Roost npcs should spawn properly by day/night.
