It should be the values listed in this picture but instead it uses updated values from slightly into Luclin era 25/30.

First time the change is mentioned. As this person owns the spear I believe we can make the inference that the change is not more than a week or two old and happened outside the timeline of p1999.

Almost all weapons introduced in Velious use their upgraded stats on P99.

I believe this was upgraded in timeline, not during Luclin. There is another weapon in DN that is exact same ratio as this lance pre-upgrade (19/30) and was later upgraded to 25/30. That being the carved dragonbone spear.

I got this thing long ago when it was the 19 damage one i was inactive for the last few months i come back and HOLY COW what a HUGE diff it is now im sellin it for a good chunk on Lanys contact me as Roadblawk Deoli Selira or sometimes Bond

....spear has been changed again........its now 25/30 11 damage bonus (not 18) 8 str 5 wis 1 to all saves....... it still drops off a dragon construct and i bet its worth about 25-30k with it being a 25/30 instead of a 19/30

Two-Handed Weapons have been given an increased damage bonus for characters over level 50. Also, certain post-epic quality two-handers have been improved.

So while we don't have direct evidence of the stat upgrade in era, I think it is safe to infer that the 19/30 stats were upgraded on 10/08/01 to the 25/30 ratio on Spirit Talker's War Lance.

In the allah item page for it comments only dated after Luclin release talk about it being updated. So my bet is it was done shortly after Luclin release.

Please don't play dumb Caiu, it doesn't suit you as you are clearly an intelligent guy. I gave my reasons in the post. You are banking on a 'stealth upgrade' during first month of Luclin when there is clear evidence of a 2h upgrade a few months prior. This was most likely a rare weapon that not a lot of people had, hence not an out pouring of comments on an upgrade in era.

It's quite probable it was upgraded at the same time as the other Two-handers in Velious.

There is maybe a 12/6/01 patch that this could have occurred, something along the lines of 'Various item and content fixes'.

Just because someone says on 12/19/01 "I have this lance and pic is wrong, should be 25/30" doesn't mean it was upgraded that day.

I will give you that it could be either way. However my bet is on the Luclin side of things.I'll keep digging maybe something will come up! Still will need to have a pre and post nurf addition to the timeline if you are right.

I couldn't find anything prior to the December 2001 comment, so

Pending update:

-Spirit Talker's War Lance has pre-upgrade stats prior to December 2001.

If additional evidence is found post it up and we can change this.
