Iksar Kelethin Merchant Faction: Warrior Guild Turn In Quest: How Many Turn Ins?

I'm right around 550 turn ins right now for Regren's Quest and still have dubious merchants that wont sell. If any of you Iksars have gained Kelethin Merchant faction with this quest how many turn ins did it take?

I read this old guide here I found on the Way Back Machine and they report it only took around 350 back on classic live. http://web.archive.org/web/20030418023906/http://www.twenkill.net:80/anezka/Faydwer.html#Regren's Quest (Kelethin)

Then here on the p99 Wiki https://wiki.project1999.com/Faction it shows dubious being -500 to -101 so if the quest was only giving 1 point of faction change per turn in it would only take 399 turn ins at the most. That is unless in P99 I'm only getting a fraction of a point for a turn in.

If anyone can shed some light on this or how many turn ins it takes that would be much appreciated. Thanks guys :)

What deity are you btw?
I only ask this because some npcs are antireligion specific. Usually not merchants though.

You aren't really dubious to the merchants - con the Kelethin banker to see where you're really at on that faction. Merchants never go below dubious. Iksars tend to be near max-KoS to strictly good-aligned cities.

Ahh thank you, I just went up to the banker and hes now Dubious to me and will let me bank. Awesome :)

Question, can I keep raising this faction to get the merchants to sell to me? They still are not wanting to sell or is that something that will just never happen?

You just need to be apprehensive to do business with them.

The Warrior GM quest in Kelethin took my troll well over 100 turn ins until he was able to use the banker in Kelethin. After that I moved to slave keys to further improve merchant faction.

Do the Shark Meat quest instead -- you'll get +4 per turn in (possibly more if it hasn't been fixed yet) instead of +1 one. The best spot to farm shark meat is in Erudin harbor and when you kill the young sharks from the diseased spawn you'll also be raising the Erudin guild factions.

pretty sure iksars can only go cazic thule. maybe warrior can go rallos zek but idk. I dont think they can go agnostic at all though.

People are aware they can use the Kelethin bank if they line up outside within banking range and can click on the banker through the window, right?

If you ever go into North Freeport and see people staring at you as you walk into the bank, chances are that's what they're doing ^^
