so i noticed a few days ago when some one camped out their pet stayed around after the character dissapeared killed something then despawned. i did not think much about it till last night in hate. first our shaman died and his pet started attacking the party we killed it no big deal and rezed him. then later we had a necro pet attack the group while its owner was still alive the go away button despawned it. any one else noticing this

Saw a necro pet in lake rathe standing on an empty rowboat apparently swinging at the air, the pet was at 100%, no idea who's pet it was....very weird shit. I've also seen my wife gate on her mage from SolA and her pet stayed behind to do a little mob hunting on it's own...was very ODD...

pets have been acting strange since the patch. They no longer poof after you log, zone, gate..... they just hang around and pick fights. This is true for mage pets, necro pets that I have noticed.

They are tired of being used against their wills. They have developed AI and are going to form parties and hunt US down now!

Technically this is classic. From what I've heard, at release pets would turn into NPCs and go on a rampage attacking PCs or NPCs when their master died.

This is correct. In classic, if your mage LDed, Jobeker sometimes became a problem. Also in classic pets remembered hateful things done to them.. such as a group member practicing beg skill. If it became an npc, it would attack who it had saved aggro for.

Pet bugs at the moment aren't intentional though, as classic as they may seem!

Yeah, I was healing on a Lord Nagafen kill and two mage pets from dead mages started ripping me to shreds, lets just say we did not kill Lord Nagafen... :(

Noticed this in oasis when I was PLing a friend. Right clicked Focus item for Reclaim and it stuck around, owning this SG. And I'm like WTF GO AWAY and I spammed "Go away" button and it stayed there even though it had already said "(pet) disperses." Spammed the button and kept getting "You do not have a pet." messages.

WTF KOBOBER, WTF.

Needless to say my friend did not get experience for the SG :(

You won't gain your mana back but it will insta-poof your pet from any distance... even when /pet go away doesn't work.

I have a feeling the same thing would have happened had I used the boots. Gotten the "Jobober disperses" message but still seeing him fighting, health on the mob going down, and not seeing pet die until after the fight. I suppose I could try it, if it would be helpful information.

Edit: I say I think it would've still happened that way because someone else said they gated and their pet stayed around, so I figured invising might not work either. Also, it'd be nice to figure out in what situations does this happen, every time, only with certain mobs, etc.
