Can someone give me a real dumbed down version of uploading prices to the wiki? Is there some trick to it?

I follow the directions exactly as their written, removing non-auction stuff using gamparse, file is less than 2mb etc. Every single time I try to do it it says something like "100 prices were uploaded, 0 duplicates" or something like that if I remember right, I haven't tried in a few weeks because the 10+ times I've tried it never actually uploads any of the auctions.

Right now I feel like 90% of the people uploading prices are only doing it to manipulate prices upwards, I would like to contribute some actual legitimate auctions but I hate wasting the time if it's not going to work.

Should be working ok (that message seems like a success message).

Note there is some caching delay, so it could take a few days for your prices to appear on an item page. But, if you look page at some prices you uploaded a week ago, they should be there?

Thanks Ravhin, I assumed there was a delay but didn't notice any being uploaded a few days later. I'll try again soon and give it a week or so. It's definitely working for some people because there are some prices that are only a couple days old so I thought maybe I was missing something.

Also thanks for all the effort you put into the wiki.

Rav!

Any chance you can pass on the knowledge/permissions of updating certain pages that are missing an auction tracker box to others?

Rahvin deletes wiki pages and then locks them :/

I appreciate everything Ravhin has done for the wiki and am thankful. I wish someone with a professional attitude whom is active in the community and has the code skill would step up so Ravhin could pass the torch.
