Trade Skills Problems Thus Far.

This is a compilation of the trade skill issues I've had thus far in raising all of my skills at once.

Materials:

Bottle - All of the vendors in Rivervale that typically carry Bottle in their list of wares do not sell them.

Recipe Issues:

Brewing - Gnomish Spirits (1 Rat Ear, 1 Spider Leg, 1 Rice, 1 Bottle) When placing these items in the Brew Barrel, you get the message "These items do not combine in this type of container."

Cooking - Fish Fillet (1 Fresh Fish, 1 Jug of Sauces) When placing these items in an over or spit, you get the message "These items do not combine in this type of container."

Will continue to post issues as I find them.

Sorry, I haven't tried any of these tradeskills yet on this server but I know when I was having this issue with research I ended up having to use the special interface in order for it to work. (ctrl+click instead of right click), then I searched for the recipe from the list provided.

I have no idea though if this could be the same issue or not.

I had the same problem with the fish fillets but oddly after I camped over to do a item transfer and then logged back I could do the fillets in the oven but not in the spit.

I know the spit works because I made other items in it today like wolf sandwiches and such.

Would like to bump this. Many merchants are missing trade skill items, with Bottle being the most annoying. Another item I've noticed as often missing is "Glass Shards" for pottery. Definitely missing from the Rivervale / Misty Thicket merchant listed on EQTraders.

Another item I've noticed as often missing is "Glass Shards" for pottery.

Can someone confirm that Gurb Smithson with glass shards IS in EFP somewhere? I can't find him & have scoured the zone.

I can confirm that I was running around EFP last night as a matter of fact and did indeed find glass shards on a vendor. Sorry that I didn't get the name and location but it was in one of the tradeskill buildings.
