Spiders, and Snakes in Toxxulia Forest not spawning

None of these mobs are currently spawned in Toxx, it's all Pixies, Wisps and kobolds. There's a distinct lack of mobs for leveling between 8 and 12. Namely the mobs listed above. Going off memory from live (1999 and 2011) and Blue server, there should definitely be some higher level spiders and snakes roaming the woods. I definitely remember getting adds from higher level stuff while trying to pick out the lower. There are some level 1 thistle snakes spawning in the south part of the zone as well which seems weird and off, and the level 2-4 spiderlings as well.

Update:

Upon further research some of these mobs may be wiki ghosts. There is definitely a higher level snake and spider mob missing though, just not sure what it is.

Yeah, I gave up and went to Qeynos once I hit 8. Everything was either green or red con to me.

From my understanding, those mobs were added post Velious to fill out levels ranges and improve the leveling experience in newbie zones.

You can help edit the wiki and tag those critters as {{Velious Era}} or equiv. Be bold! :)

Kerra 1.0 mobs started at around level 8 so Erudites were probably expected to hunt there. Wisp Isle in Erud's Crossing also has some lower level mobs too.
