In classic, when a necro FDs, his pet died/his charm broke. This is not the case currently, and should be fixed.

Damn. I figured for sure this wouldn't be this way on green. I remember it well on blue, and between this and being able to LOS NPCs at the end of their spellcasts... hahaha.

Pets did not die, 100% sure of that. I honestly can't remember if charm broke on FD.

Please fix, FD should kill necromancer pet and break charm.

doesn't charm break on green?, it does on blue.

when was it implemented the pet part?

post you linked to was just the posts about the 2 min timer, 2000 03 21
that suggest that it wasn't a thing for a looong time.

plus can we have real pet guard where pet active attacks any hostile npc that comes in range

Incorrect, used to solo ghoul lord as a necro while fd by charming his buddies.

I did this during blue vanilla. I didn't realize it was actually a classic mechanic though.

necros have long charmed, fd, engaged with charmed mobs
