Beer braised bear

I am in North Freeport, at the oven by the bank. I put in bear meat, short beer & spices. It states: You cannot combined these items in this container type!

Well, the recipe states that I can. I have yet to try with other meats, such as lion or wolf, to see if they give the same message. It may just be bear, or all the meats.

I will try other ovens to see if this is a bug just for this oven or all ovens.

just an FYI, I use those recipes in a Spit all the time and they work just fine.

Tradeskills are kind of buggy if you use the old interface, and put the items in yourself. Try ctrl-clicking the container and using the advanced interface instead. You may have more luck with that.

Ok, this is frustrating.... bought a spit and still won't combine! Tried bear, wolf & lion. Not using the old interface. Put in one of the meats, one short beer & one spices - same message. Is the recipe wrong? What do you put in to get it to work Xaquin?

the exact same thing. that's weird. I've never used lion, but beer braised bear, wolf, and gator work just fine for me.

I hope you get it worked out. Do any other cooking recipes work for you?

I have made crunchies, dough, sandwiches, steaks... all in ovens/mixing bowls as appropriate to the recipes. This is the first recipe that has not worked at all. I bought a spit again (multi-tradeskill person that values slot spaces, hee hee). I tried it again. Bear, wolf, lion... all no go. See pic (hope image attaches and can be seen):

try ctrl clicking the spit to bring up the new UI for tradeskills. That may do the trick. least ways it works for me.

Ok, I had tried using the new UI for other recipes and had issues, but for this one it worked. All the other recipes worked fine without the new UI, so assumed this one would too. Got it figured out under the new UI and it works.
