I was the first to level from 1-50 in a single day from the Tumpy Tonic exploit

I think the first Boxes of Abu-Kar were looted in Rathe Mountains off of Hill Giants by Penoy, then Galahad, then Pheer (in that order, i didnt get mine till much later). This was when we were the only people on the server above 30 - the closest to us were around 20. (After Reiker got banned, Zithax didn't play for a while from what I remember...)

I've never boxed in my life. I grinded Derrp up , anyone that raided with me knows that I don't dual box. I've told you this like 20 times and you still try to slander me. I've had each and every gm check on me. I'm sure. Never once did they say we were boxing. Talk to your friend secrets and ask. Or any other gm. But stop slandering our names Pheersome/feign. Not very nice of you to do. Gives Ib a bad name.

Btw. Pheersome only got 50 first by hanging on Galahad's coat tails. AFK for 10 hours play for 14 afk for 10 hours play for 14. Only way he beat my magician to 50. Atleast we did it legit.

lol, seriously tho, any misinformation is completely accidental.. I've tried to label things I'm not sure about with a ?, but of course I might be wrong on some things. If you see something wrong, point it out, and we'll fix it.

..as far as including hackers in this list, I'm against it. This is why Tantalar, Draum, etc., do not appear in the current form of this list. Some of you might argue where that line is drawn, since there may be people on this list who have been known to use MQ etc., and I answer that in cases where cheating was shown to have some sort of effect on the eventual outcome, I will disclude it. I.E., Tiki is a known cheater, yet he is listed as having the first Pegasus cloak. Well, there were ten of us that zoned in when that started dropping, and no matter which one of us saw it first, we were gonna give it to Tiki no matter what, so his cheating didn't have an effect on the outcome.

FBSS isn't really a milestone. If I include FBSS, then I hafta include every haste item. Cloak of Flames is the milestone haste for classic besides 41% sky belts which probably won't be seen before Kunark, so that's what is listed.

I think a good general rules is that if the GM's dont rule against something, it should be included.. So for instance, Draum is not listed as the first 50 sk, although technically he was. Similarly, the GM's allowed Olympia to keep his belt of contention, so he would be listed as the first to obtain it. However, I haven't added that haste item list because there has been a lack of enthusiasm about it.. so it's moot?

Being in my guild at the time I know he was 50 before myself. So unless I have the name wrong, Astro was still only level 34 at the time and quad kiting in South Karana when I was trying to recruit him. I was trying to offer him spells but he turned out to have them all already. I watched him level up a little before one day he had the IB tag and it hit me that he was probably just an alt.

I suppose you're right but this is how all guilds start out. Before you know it they're requiring 3 forms of identification and a letter of recommendation from all of the officers before they'll let you join them on a raid.

Yeah, I had first guise, but only because Allizia, Tild, and Necron were all dark elves hehe.

Danth was the first person I slapped a full suit of smithed Fine Steel Armor on, so he'd get that first.

Jify was the first person to break my heart, shunning me from <The Mages Guild> on a minor technicality.

And I'll back pretty much anything Allizia said on the thread for server firsts. We definitely got the Efreeti boots first and helped plenty of others CR attempt weeks after the fact. To this day i remember telling people "it's either the bats/bugs or imps/guardians that don't see invis, but i can't cast it so i never remember which one it is" lol. I wasn't there for any of the Mayong or Phinny fights, though. By that time my work/sleep schedule was so whacked out i was pretty much never awake/online during normal raiding hours. Hell I think I only zoned in even Fear a couple of times.

On that note, Sever was definitely the first melee ever at an Efreeti camp to say "F this, I need sleep" and successfully trained all the way to the entrance and out of the zone. That was probably the most impressive thing I ever saw. A close second would be my buddy Vezor, who was the greatest cleric/enchanter a twink warrior could ever expect from a necro :)

I was the first (and probably) only person in beta to level legit in beta to the mid 30s and actually tested zones like mistmoore and cazic thule. It's a shame most people just wanted to get dinged to 50 to frolic around. Those mid level zones needed a ton of pathing and mob/item testing and it sure wasn't the GMs fault that they didn't even hear about any of it until weeks after launch since so few were actually beta testing the real nuts and bolts of the pre-50 game.

Also wow @ the 600+ server population. Nice to see this place has grown. Now if we'd all stop hating on each other, no matter how much a part of classic EQ the drama always was ;)

One person alone can't max all the languages. The group will hit the 100 point at pretty much the exact same time, maybe a couple seconds off at best but it's impossible to tell really because the spam comes so fast.

For languages? yes i do =) As Beau so masterfully pointed out, you can't skill up languages alone - and since we all logged out/in together, we all noted the max skill at the same time! We did it together and would like to be recognized together.

Scroll up for verification on my other posts, there was a roll. There was also a level 30 requirement for attendance/loot, which Supreme barely met but Smallz did not, he was 28ish at the time. im not posting every loot unless there is general consensus to do so. i posted the first "boss loot" in (legitimately opened) sky, and i will post all 1st to obtain haste items (sky or not) as per general consensus that they should be posted (see belt of contention - olympia, which has been posted for MONTHS).. also, i know yer being tongue in cheek, but im not posting every boss kill in sky either, probably not another one until eye.. noble, lord, and eye are milestones and have been listed in the "the future" section for months..

Also, if its going to be first 'legit' boss kill in sky, it should be marked as such, not first on the item that dropped from the first boss. I'd also take away Oly's haste belt as the first one obtained if we're going specific on 'legit' first boss kills or first items or whatever... or at the very least clarify. Who was the first warrior to get the belt after killing bosses in sky became 'legit'? Do we want to add that clarification?

If so you probably want to mark IB as the first boss kill in sky, since we did kill the princess 9 months ago. I seem to remember this whole debacle where the GMs said it was legitimate and let us keep the loot as it was their fault they left the zone open... so maybe you want to do an *addendum* at the bottom and clarify the differences or whatever.

Or you could really just go by what happened first and not be nit-picky. Whatever.

In theory this belt should be enough to put you to the haste cap in classic when combined with Swift Like the Wind. The cap should be 75% although I'm not 100% certain the server is going by that.

Eh, I meant first boss kill after sky was legitimately opened.. ..we took down the same princess script way back - when olympia was still in bronze sleeves (hav screenshots $) - that currently exists, and everyone knows that, however sky was not OPENED, it was accidentally left open and certain people took certain liberties with that knowledge. Reminds me of a certain mage farming loot out of another zone that was accidentally left open, but he had HIS loot taken.. Starts with a G and ends with an oobles?

..and in any case, they didn't say our 1st princess (months ago) was legit, they just said Oly's belt wasn't getting taken away (not same thing). Since that's the case, oly will be listed for 1st belt of contention as per the other people in this post and in tells asking to have haste items listed..

Also as far as adding princess, it's not gonna happen. I added the drop from the first boss killed after sky was opened. Doesn't really matter what it is.. I listed dojorn and lord for you guys, and whoever gets eye down first will get that listing as well.. You REALLY think princess should get listed?
