your living the nerfed version of stun, the first patch was 5 stuns in a row, 2 your good

Were there specifics given somewhere about the changes? The patch notes weren't very specific if I recall right. Is there some thread involving it somewhere?

Haynar: Bash from behind no longer gets a bonus to stun. This caused an increase in stuns from behind, and when combined with flee stuns, it was worse than intended.

So you just made up the 5 stuns thing, eh?

In any event I have some serious doubts that in classic EQ a single mob could have virtually stunned-locked someone for over 10+ seconds.

not really, felt like 5 but maybe its the effect your living but with a LOT more frecuency, like everytime you turned your back or tried to run on the zone unsowed pulling stun every few steps even green mobs vs 60 after they added the patch to "classic" you literally change to walk pulling with "stun now and then" to "guaranteed stuns every few steps", when they fixed that, you could actually run and see a bash and not be insta stunned, sensation felt like we went from 20% stuns to 80% on the back when they fixed maybe we are at 40%? i dont do statistics just tell you my experience.

At one point i thought they had it to difficult NtoV pulls to zone in because the moment DA faded 110% chance stun on the back and dead.

I can tell you the difference as a bard pling dragging 25 mobs hitting me on my back lguk or kaesora, therefore i could notice the difference from pre patch and post patch almost instantly as i had to literally moonwalk backwards to make my song land before a new stun.

So these days i never experienced that long stuns from the back, may get one or 2 but wont chain.

ps: when i asked about it you made "fun" of it https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=321051 and Haynar "confirmed" classic so they could find out that IT WAS NOT coded properly.
