Othmir Fur Caps have 95% combine success rate

All the Velious tailoring recipes have a 335 trivial which means at max tailoring, 250, you will succeed 50% and fail 50% of combines.

Othmir Fur Skullcaps will level you up to 250 so I believe the trivial level is correct but there's some bug which is making them have the trivial fail rate of 5%. I just combined 19 of them and succeeded on 18 of them. I combined some previously and seemed like I got really "lucky" on making them. Definitely not luck but bugged.

This would make it much easier to level tailoring as successes have double the chance of skilling up that failures do.

Othmir recipe trivials are not 335.

Should they be? Quick research suggests 262 for the cap.

I see the wiki tailoring trivials have been changed by someone recently. All the Velious tailoring recipes used to be listed as 335 trivial. I always wondered where that number came from.

I've slogged through getting a tailor to 250 on both blue and green at the cost of hundreds of thousands of plat.

The earliest ZAM tailoring list I could find is August 3, 2003 and there isn't a single tailoring recipe higher than 250.
