View Full Version : 5800x3d AMD CPU and p99
Hi all,
Does anyone run this CPU on p99? If so, did you have to downclock it in order to run EQ? Looking for am4 platform cpu upgrade, any feedback appreciated.

I run the game on a 5900X and do not need to down-clock. This CPU will work fine.

I'm curious if you ever went about playing P99. I have a 5800X3D and CANNOT get logged into the Green server. Because it's a 3D chip, I can't downclock my chip. I'm wondering if you were able to ever get it working.

I have a 7950X3D and haven't had any issues for months...until this patch but it's just a patch file issue I think.

Darn, I cannot get this to launch the actual game on my 5800X3D. After user name and password, I select the Green server and boom.. I'm back at the login page.

This is the process that fixed it for me - direct link to the post:

It took me a while to figure out how to change my CPU Ratio. Longer than it should in all honesty.
Edit: fixed typo.

I'm locked out of this on my 5800x3D. You were able to do this?
