Harbinger Glosk ate 7th Rank Skullcap turn in

I couldn't find any other post on this, so I'm sorry if this is duplicated.

Also, this occurred within the last 30 minutes.

This is a difficult one to find evidence for, as I was unable to find another instance of this occurring either on P99 or elsewhere on the Web (on Live).

I cast my skeleton illusion on myself (lich) to raise my faction to sufficient level for Harbinger Glosk to respond to my "I am the new revenant" and give me the unfinished scepter. The faction level was "kindly".

I then completed the scepter in the forge in Dalnir and returned to Harbinger Glosk. When I turned in my completed scepter and my Revenant Skullcap, he ate both items and said nothing! My faction had remained unchanged from when I initially opened the quest with him. EDIT: I was also in skeleton illusion for this turn-in although I didn't say so - if I wasn't, he would have attacked me. :p

In fact, I said "I am the new revenant" again and got a new unfinished scepter. I am hoping that I don't have to complete this all over again. If so, I won't even bother - a lot of work wasted.

I would think that if my faction were high enough to open the quest line, the turn in should also work, but I saw no evidence of this or the contrary on either the P99 forums or elsewhere on the internet concerning EQLive.

I would like to say that this is repeatable, but I don't know for sure as this was a long quest line and it will take me a considerable amount of time to redo all that work.

Please let me know if this was indeed a glitch and can be repaired, or if I am screwed. :)

I have the exact same problem than you. He ate both items and i had to petitionned on the petition and exploit forum. I am still waiting for an answer for this one.

By the way i would like to know if the necromancer 8th skullcap is on the server or not. I got 1 of the item but the chief Rukgus doesnt drop the flaxen lock of hair and i never sar the An iksar tomb raider in emerald jungle. I am lvl 45 and my faction is warmly with the hermit but he always answer i need to prove myself bla bla bla.

So - granted it's fixed pending update....

But is there a chance to get the quest items I lost (or the 7th rank skullcap I should have received) returned to me? Or will I have to repeat this quest from the beginning?

The items were lost from my character Thashox. Do I need to submit a petition for this?

EDIT: I just submitted a petition anyway. I hope I can be reimbursed; that would be fantastic!
