Pathing orcs in GFay that are constantly falling out of the sky and hard to engage...why don't they feel that pain? Or any mob for that matter that paths like this.

evil eyes in runnyeye that roam around areas too low for their level and just chomp on unsuspecting newbies... harm touching skeles in HS... and dragoons in OT (especially the wandering ones and the ones that take forever to path back to their spawn point when aggroed).

Any of those roaming mobs in Oasis are bad. You're fighting one mob and those damn puma, madmen, drybone skellies, ghouls etc all just come along at the wrong time.

Any healer ever.

a lizard judicator begins to cast a spell.
You slash a lizard judicator for miniscule damage.
a lizard judicator regains concentration and continues casting.
a lizard judicator feels much better.

a lizard judicator feels much better.

Altho with push working now it ain't so bad anymore, but the memories of the fights going on until the damned things ran OOM will last forever. Kinda like the GRAWW-RAWW-AWW in oasis when you were medding at the beach.

Also agreed, I've run from them many times in the past as a lowbie. Annoying when you make it through BB only to get get hit by one of those guys.

Caster mobs are just grotesquely overpowered. Shaman mobs in particular, considering they'll slow you, dot/nuke you, debuff you, and heal themselves. It's one of the biggest design flaws of Everquest that caster mobs basically have the same HP and melee damage as warrior mobs while also casting spells more effectively than players and generally aren't subjected to channeling checks. Caster mobs are easily several times as hard as equivalent warrior mobs, and they're never worth killing for exp. I honestly can't imagine what Verant was thinking when they designed that.

OHHH almost forgot! Dark Assassin @ Feerrott!

Barbs can whine all they want about their composers; there's a sodding lvl50 KOS rogue roaming all over the second half of the ogre newbie area. Not that he limits his rage to unsuspecting newbies, seen tons of folks fall victim to his abrupt spring-jumps from behind the trees.

They are not supposed to be this strong, on live it was actually better getting caster mobs because they would cast lower tier spells and had less hp than war mobs. For some reason here mobs have full access to their spells and an enhanced ai to use them so you get blinded and rooted a lot more often. Not to mention the ice comets....

There is a Dark Assassin that roams around the Barb newbie zone also.

Shamans are certainly annoying, though I think I prefer magic-using mobs being more difficult as it makes the game more challenging. Wizard mobs (I believe) in classic would typically chain cast magic-based direct damage spells which could seldom if ever get past one's magic resistance, which I thought was pretty lame.

Any Necromancer casters. Before you blink you have a full set of dots on you along with potential fears. And yes, your Cleric/Druid/Shaman/Paladin/Bandaging Monk better keep healing you.

Oh and you also have to deal with the pet.

The NPC outside of Fear. Tried to drop a fear bomb on her immediately, resisted, resisted fear a second time. She died, but after the fight I died to lingering dots (boil blood lasted like 2 fkn minutes).

I'd have to go with the healing mobs who are not involved in the fight and are in some other room / hallway. Nothing like fighting something and he keeps getting healed. I can tell you this, that once I finally kill my mob, I track down the healer and lay the spank on it good and hard.. Sweet revenge.

^^^ this, nothing sucks more then trying to solo as a none snaring class in a dungeon somewhere. Burn the mob down fine, no issues, then a room full of healers 2 rooms away starts healing the shit outa your mob, then he just walks away and agros everything else.
