View Full Version : Quest Issue: Vira didnt give "torch of alana"

I gave all the items to her: Fire Drake scale, a Torch, Fire emerald, Fire Giant toes. She didnt return my items or give the torch. Could use some help getting items back or preferably the Torch of Alana. I am online all today on the 1999 classic server (no GMs online right now it seems, petitions going unanswered currently).

Quest is working fine as far as I know. I've done it, many others have done it. User error?

I dont see how, i gave her all 4 items, at the same time. Just went back outside and and farmed another drake scale, gave it to her. Nothing...

No message, just took the items and gave nothing to me. THese items are hard to come by with a mid 20's magician (fire giant toes and the torch). So it would be nice to at least get the items back (toes cost me 125p from another player and fire emerald was 89p at the vendor in nfp). BIg chunk of change for me.

The quest hasn't been tinkered with. I'll check the logs tonight. What time did you attempt the turn in and I need your character name.

I did the turn-in at about 11:30 am (EST) yesterday. Thanks alot Aeolwind.

Just handed the items again today, 8:40 pm EST. I hailed first, went through all the dialogue and she ate all the ingredients again. No torch of alna...

I was with phil all night and day farming as well, we both got the torch, bought our emeralds and killed the drakes and bought the fire giant toes and handed them in minutes apart, I got my torch and he got nothing.

Time of hand in was around 5pm PST. Name of Character for me is: Silchas name of Phil's char: Philatio

Aeolwind came and returned my items for a third attempt at hand-in. Guess what? It worked flawlessly! Thanks Aeolwind, you are the man. Issue resolved.
