The 'Crescent Pants' drop values from "a kly invoker" in Dalnir needs to be looked at.

On live everquest servers (not P99)? I didn't see you post any data of how many you killed and what the drop rate was.

What do the Live EverQuest Servers have anything to do with p99? I don't have an account for live servers, and I'm not going to get one. I've killed over 100 kly invokers and haven't seen the pants. It's been a 5 day journey. You're asking me to kill 100 more just to prove to you that i've doneso? Are you not able to check the drop rates on items? p99 wiki says 5% but who knows. That's not what I got, i'm getting 1-2%. I don't understand where you are coming from. Sorry and Thanks

A lot of the live EQ servers are unchanged in old zones like Dalnir. Literally captured in time. P99 models drop rates off live data all the time. I made a thread about Tantor being too rare on P99 and super common on live and nilbog provided a fix.

Live servers are free to play on. I bought a level 100 character for something like $40 so I can maul content easy

However, people don't talk about them as if they were especially rare (ie. as rare as Wonton's report of a < 1:100 rate). Also, two posters agreed they were less rare on level 3 (vs. level 2), although the second suggests that's just because level 3 has more mobs.

got these pants off a lvl 30 mob in the crypt of dalnir on lower floor nice item for a monk to pursue.

These are random drops off all Kly's in Dalnir. I personaly like to go down to the third floor to kill em because theres a safe room where nothing spawns and i can camp my level 3 iksar monk down there to loot it all =).

Crescent is a rare drop from certain kly on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Dalnir. Here is who drops what:

Kly Evoker - Crescent Slippers
Kly Cohort - Crescent Gi
Kly Invoker - Crescent Pants
Kly Follower - Crescent Gloves
Kly Acolyte - Crescent Arms
Kly Believer - Crescent Headband

It drops more often on third floor than the second, and there are no kly on the 1st floor, so don't bother looking up there.. Hope this helps

Taz. is right about what mobs drop what peices and he is also right that it drops more often on 3rd floor mainly because there are more kly on 3rd floor.

Depends on the zones, I know they messed with spawns/spawn rates in sebilis at some point. Hard to know without 25 years of knowledge of the zone.
