View Full Version : Enstill is Enchanter Only?

I just tried to mem Enstill on my Wizard, but found that the spell is Enchanter only in-game.

It correctly lists the right level for an Enchanter (29), and all the other details correctly match https://wiki.project1999.com/Enstill (Alteration, cost 60) ... but there are no other classes listed on the spell.

I thought maybe this was some weird Verant bug, where there's an Enchanter-only version of the spell and another one for other classes, but I couldn't find any mention of it. Is it possible the spell just has a bug in its class list?

I found the (not bugged) version of Enstill on its proper vendor in Neriak 3rd Gate. The one I reported came from one of the vendors in Neriak Commons, but since none of them sell the spell it must have been sold to a vendor by a player (and I have no idea where it originally came from).

Maybe this is a weird Verant thing, but it seems pretty odd to have two otherwise identical versions of the exact same spell in the game ... but one is for every class (including Enchanter) and one is only for an Enchanter.

Ah, I didn't realize that researched spells are only usable by their class.

Does this mean there are alternate, single-class-only versions of every researched spell (that can be cast by multiple classes)?
