Moonstone Turn Ins - Qeynos

At level 4 turning in moonstones (the reward for turning in gnoll fangs) yields zero experience. You realistically need to be at least level 5 to even kill gnolls for the fangs which yield the moonstones.

Not sure if thats correct but I figured at level 4 I would at least gain some experience for turning in moonstones at that bar (fish something).

noticed that too. the workaround i'm using is drop off your bags at the bank before you turn in fangs, that way you only have to destroy a few moonstones while the rest fall to the ground.

I ended up just turning on auto destroy and getting rid of them, however it says I gain experience when I turn them in. I am just confused as to why it tells me this but my experience bar stays at whatever percentage regardless.

Quest rewards yield a fixed amount of experience. Even at a value of 1, you will still see the experience message. Moonstones give considerably less experience than the fangs. You also take undesirable faction hits for most classes. The primary reason to hand them in is for the ale for the subsequent quest or for the higher sell value.

Yeah those moonstones never really gave you much exp at all but the Gnoll fangs sure are great exp!
