View Full Version : Spells: no description for my spells or items
Hello,
I'm new here so I hope this is in the correct place.
I have finished adding the new files and moved some files to a backup folder as instructed to but now my spells and other items that should have a description don't.
For example, my enrolment scroll was blank and did not tell me who to give it to. My spells only include the level, skill, mana cost and cast time info.
Is there something I may have done wrong?
Thanks,
Soma

What city, class, race, and deity is the enlistment note for? Each of these factors may change the content of the note you are supposed to deliver to your guild master, and it's possible one of the notes is broken.
Spell descriptions being displayed on the right-click-hold spell information is not Classic. I use http://www.pro1999.com/classes.html to look up in-depth spell information =)
hi Vermicelli,
Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it's not a bug than. Sorry I bothered you with it.
Thanks, Soma

Did you right click the note, or alt+click it? You read the enrollment letter by right clicking it. If that didn't work then one of the letters is bugged.

I'm also still curious about the enrollment letter. If you list your toon's city, class, race, and deity, I will check it out to see if it is blank for me also =)
I just created another character and it is fine. It was my bad. I was still learning the game and I was holding the right mouse button down instead of just clicking it. I went back and right clicked on the new character’s enrolment paper and a new window opened with the full text. I am so sorry to have wasted your time but thank you so much for your help.
If you wish to still check out the enrollment paper, I was playing a High Elf Wizard from Felwithe, goddess Mother of All.
Cheers,
Soma
