Is Kithicor supposed to drop his griffon helm?

We killed Kith tonight (3/30) and Would love to know if he is supposed to drop it?

Posts on allah alone go as far back as 2000, and the item "pic" looks legit, to be honest it's the exact same stats as a helm of rile, and from what I remember it's supposed to be on his loot table just like the robe is on Qwuinn/Zephyl

For the level of the mob, difficulty, exclusivity and considering his contemporaries it seems like this should be a drop reward.
