VP Dragons Regen Rate

So after revamp we are noticing 5% regen per tick. Is this as designed? Doesnt seem right. Thats 1600 hp regen per tick.

It's a slight increase from previous patch based on reports that regen was slightly too low.

If it is too much, it can be slightly scaled back. Need more feedback though.

Overall, the VP dragons should be harder now. Dragon charm now works, and some LOS fixes should make them more intelligent.

VP dragon regen was definatally wrong pre-patch. At 5% now, it seems closer to right than before the patch ( which was very low )

I know they're supposed to regen a lot, but 1600 (or so) a tic seems a bit high. According to my records, the upgraded level 70 version of Hoshkar regens 1350 a tic (and hits for like 2k).

my entire log while charmed. I was actually laughing pretty hard at Hosh spamming my 1500lifetap. Sadly he pathed thru the wall and took me with him before charm dropped and he raped me.

I just noticed an interesting bug from that log. Well maybe it's not a bug, but Stealin was only doing 80% damage (reduced pvp damage) with his lifetaps. Since he was actually an NPC's pet, shouldn't he have been counted as an NPC, and therefore done full damage?

yeah, I actually got charmed as I was trying to FD around a corner. I figured I was not in line of sight and safe from his AE, I had no clue that I could still be charmed tho and he got me right as I started to FD. Soon as I was charmed I guess I was summoned under him(?) not sure exactly with my camera bouncing all over. Then he continued to cast Trucidation and deflux on people who were always out of LOS. I think I only got necrious as he laid FD but got hit by an AE.

Seemed he tried to cast nonstop on people that weren't in LOS, for whatever reason. It was hard for me to tell being charmed and my screen bouncing exactly where the people were.

If i wasn't laughing so hard i'd probably have caught the charm break quicker.

Since charm is intentionally not in place for pvp, a charmed player doing reduced damage is solely a pve consideration. Good find on the bug.

I think the experience as a whole is closer to what it would of been like.

Depends, are they striving to recreate the server strictly classic as possible or are they striving to recreate the feel and experience that classic brought.

If you think VP dragon regen is bad, try Naggy/Vox with level 40-50s and scrap gear on Red99.

When they changed VP dragons to have all their abilities... some of them slipped over the other dragons as well.

Possible that Nag and Vox have gained some hp regen recently.
