Problems making Enchanter Spells?

i had 2 People try to make me the lvl 24 Enchanter Slow spell and they try to combine it in the Tomb and it says its the wrong container? Any help will be appriciated

I posted in the normal forums just to make sure i wasnt doing something wrong but it looks like torn pages (right and left) work to combine but the sequentially numbered pages are not working in the book anymore. I get that "wrong container type" error also. I went and bought all classes research books just to see if it got coded with a "mag" instead of "enc" but those pages dont work in any of the books.

Some enchanter spells cannot be combined simply by putting the 2 pages in the tome and clicking combine. In the past these spells could only be combined by searching for the in the recipe list interface.

In the latest patch the recipe interface was disabled so there are some spells that might not be creatable until this is fixed.

Yea I think this may be why the other guy posted about not being able to make smoked wood elf.

Secrets I think you might need to re-enable this interface, I have seen in the past where some recipe's will only work using the recipe builder. (I believe it was you I saw disabled it - could be wrong)

This is correct. I cant make some spells atm. When I had the search recipe thing going it worked for some.

Which spells? If you all make a list, and what the components should be (maybe even w/ a link to a recipe list) it'll make stuff like this get done lots faster. Saves a lot of time if they can just go to that part of the file, edit what has been laid out for them, and be done vs having to research through every spell combine for every class. This issue seems to be happening with all tradeskills to some extent.

Tasasin's Grimoire 390 left and right also does not combine to make Strip Enchantment, it gives the message "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

Sounds to me like we might have many different containers with the same name but a different ID. If you could provide the location of merchant who sold you the container it might be a big help :-)

I'm getting the same thing: Velishoul's p8 and p9 do not combine. I bought the container from Dulia Jestes in West Freeport (in Academy of Arcane Sciences). I checked my log files to find who I bought it from.

I also am using that link you posted for research info.

Just to add to this, these pages haven't been combining for as long as I can remember. I posted about it months ago on a few different occasions. So whatever is causing it not to work was not due to a recent patch.

I can confirm I had a chanter try to combine Instill Velishoul's Tome Page 75 + Velishoul's Tome Page 76 and it did not work.

"You cannot combine these items in this container type!" He then told me that some spells just don't combine that should.

Spell: Instill was not configured for the enchanter tome so this has now been added.
I also ran through the test with the Spell: Tepid Deeds and although it was defined in our recipe list it didn't function. We did have this defined twice though, I've removed one and have been able to successfully combine it using the Tome in Freeport.

Both of these will be in the next patch - but can you confirm any more?

Also one of the faded pages (a higher level one) cannot be turned into the numbered page. Sorry I can't remember for the life of me which but if you can just attempt to combine each faded page type (there are only 2 or 3) you should be able to figure it out.

I have a bunch of random pages saved in the bank at the moment. When I get home I'll try to combine what sets I have and see what other missing combines I can come up with.

Same as above for the pages that dont work. I am using the crys.org site for combine info like the others.

It seems that any pages that are sequential instead of right and left dont work.

I havent tried any of the half pages i have that are way above my level (50 skill) so i am not 100% on them. But like Guineapig I will test tonight and see what exact pages give those "wrong container type" message.

Also I bought the research book from West Freeport, Felwithe, and Erudin.

I got my tome from the vendor in Neriak when I'm getting the same veli tome page issues.

The Neriak tome vendor's name is Veca S'Karn, and that is where I also got my book that doesn't always work.

Oh, and I have a list of enc research combines that I printed out in 2001 if there is any confusion around what pages should combine to make which spells :p

Wizard spell Combines are not working either. Just wanted to let the devs know.

I have made the lvl 39 force spiral for wizards before.
Now when I try to make the same combine. It says wrong type of container to combine in.

I am using the same book I did to make the other spell. No I am not making a mistake.
