I'm working on the Incandescent Mask quest and need the Rune of Fortune from Enynti in Mistmoore. I did a bit of research and headed to the camp. I noticed the blood wolfs there but read that they would not aggro unless attacked or if KOS to True Spirit. They were scowling to me, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway (dumb I know, but hey I really want my mask!). I pulled Enynti and as soon as she was charmed, she was standing closer to the wolves than I, the wolves killed her and then me. After a corpse recovery, I ran to Felwithe to con Challice who is supposedly on True Spirit Faction and she was indifferent. I was thinking of giving it another try with my enchanter pet, but I thought I better check here first.

Is it possible the wolfs are on the incorrect faction or attacking when they are not supposed to be? Thanks for looking into it.

The blood wolves are non aggro even when attacking other mobs, if you attack them however you will have all of them upon you.
The Black Dire and the blood wolves are part of the Shaman 'Spear of Fate' epic quest.

The Black Dire drops a Black Dire pelt - Lore/No drop - Weight 5.0. with no additional stats. This is used to get:

Black Fur Boots
AC+9, +3Str, +3Wis, +3Sta, +3Agi, +3SvD, +3SvP, +5 SvM, Effect: Instantanious, Manaless, Self-SOW (Shaman only)

The Black Dire is a Shadowknight and it's harmtouch is in the 600 point range, plus he melee's for 100-225, and he casts SK spells. These mobs are on the 'True Spirit' faction and WILL NOT attack unless you hit them first (unless your KOS to True Spirit).

I'm a 57 wizard and was trying to get some mistmoore granite for a friend's Ro armor. The whole pack of wolves attacked me just being somewhat close to them. I happen to be amiable with true spirit.

Any word on this? The wolves are still scowling.
