I'm not sure if this is broken or not but according to:

The bandit sashes quest should give you more faction with Knight of Thunder than what it is currently.
I have turned in around 25-30 sashes and I am still indifferent as a bard who worships Mithaniel Marr. According to alla, you should only need around 7 or so to get to amiably.
I check my Priest of Life faction and it is now kindly.
Not quite sure if this is an issue or not though.
