A newbie arrives: Login server issue
 

You'll forgive me (hopefully) if this is stated somewhere, but after 45 minutes of sifting through the forums I'm afraid I'm either blind or the answer doesn't exist.

I've never played EQ, but the SoE version seems less appealing and a friend directed me here! Following the instructions set in this page I've been trying to make the appropriate accounts. My problem? I click on the Loginserver link and it brings me to a blank page. Nothing on it. No buttons or anything. Is there another way for me to make this account?

EDIT: On a somewhat related, I downloaded a P1999 torrent for the game and none of the files I'm meant to take out are there. I hope this is intentional.

EDIT2: After doing a good bit of digging into the EQemu forums, it seems the link on your guide is far, far outdated.

I second this post. The login server page is a blank white sheet.

I would only trust the torrent that is ISO files of the actual retail CDs.

I click on the Create login link in the getting started thread and it sends me to the eqemulator page. Not sure why you guys get a blank link.

Yes, it takes is to the EQ Emu page. Then we log in, then we see a blank page.
