are we allowed to remap keyboards?

for example... I want alt to be attack and not Q... there are programs like Sharpkeys that can switch my alt and q keys. (ingame we cant bind alt for some reason) are remaping keyboard programs allowed?

Should be able to, but ALT is basically a function key in EQ and if you remap it simply as Q then you need to adjust other keys that use ALT in options->keys->all

Rule of thumb:

If you are worried enough that you need to ask, it's probably a bad idea.

You can change around keys all you want under keys in Options ingame(alt-o).

Can't change anything to alt/shift/cap locks

remapping keys doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Not everybody uses the qwerty keyboard. Some people like the dvorak layout or one of the other types of layouts

It's just a different spot that the button gets pushed. It's not like you're using third party tools or botting.

W runs forward
A strafes left
D strafes right

Mouse look for direction.

My movement setup.

Hope for no ban.

I like to put all the button commands onto one of those gamepads. I had a nostromo n52 for years but it finally broke down and I had to get one of those new razer's.

They still sell the nostromos but it's like $300 from crazy ebay resellers. Fuck that. I'll deal with the shitty razer synapse software and save a couple hundred bucks.
