Broken Quest/Container (DE Necro)
 

Noxhil V`Sek in the Lodge of the Dead has a 2nd gathering quest - 4 Kerra Isle Beetle Eyes and 1 Mammoth Tusk. He gives this quest when asked about [other components] and provides you with a tiny 4 slot container for the eyes. However, "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" is reported when trying to combine the eyes. I have tried both regular fire beetle eyes and the Kerra Isle Beetle eyes (singles, of course, as these stack) but neither will work making the quest impossible to complete here.

Any idea what the combined 4 slot box is called?

Man you are fast! That's a tough one. I'll try my best to help find it but I see no record of the actual combined box. The P99 Wiki and Allakhazam both wrongly have a "Kerran Fire Beetle Eyes" and "Wooly Mammoth Tusks" quest when they are actually one quest. The description for the Kerran Fire Beetle Eyes quest on both entries is actually the first quest in the series, with 10 regular eyes. I'll look to other sources.

No, that's not right. Nilbog needs to know what the name of the combined 4-slot box is (the one that you use Kerra Isle Beetle Eyes in). The one you referenced is for the first quest, 10-slot box for regular fire beetle eyes.

Combining the 4 eyes in 4 slot container should produce a different item. Searched for a bit, couldn't find anything.

Item Lore: "Kerra Isle Fire Beetle Box" ? Or is that just the name you would get if you identified the empty box?

That is the 4 slot box. Once the eyes were combined inside it, it would have another name, and likely different lore.

Okay I figured this out.

Turns out the box is 'Beetle Eye Box', which is the exact same as the one needed for Daedat Losaren's 'Holy Armor' quest.

'Kerran Fire Beetle Eye' quest now works. Amiable or better
