Make that less than 5 missing. If you're implying huge zerg, not so. And she went down without even 1 CH. Flawless execution from great leadership.

Look, All Clayton was pointing out was that there WAS 38 at the kill. There's nothing to be ashamed on downing Vox with 38, but the fact is some of your guildies tried to deny this (by either not knowing the facts or out of pride). That being said it's totally understandable since it would be even more retarded to number cap yourselves for the sake of proving something.

I'm very happy that you guys managed to down her, just unhappy as to how you got to attempt her. Where is the competitive spirit of racing to a mob? I'd hate to toss mud again in Trans's direction but this whole "if we can't race 'em camp 'em" mentality is just extremely lame.

After the whole rotation fiasco, rules were established to "allow" competitive racing. Players however are trying to bend this rule by flatly camping a boss. This is the part where I lose all respect to any camping raiding guilds. I mean why bother with the first to mobilize AFTER a boss spawns rule if your going to be sitting there WITH a 72 HOUR WINDOW?

All that camping for manastone wasn't enough? Is this the next evolution? Let's get random 15 players to sit for a cloak of flames? Isn't it easier and more efficient to setup a tracking rotation and allow the rest of your guildies to go on their lives and be summoned when needed? This is where it baffles me when people accuse us of being "too" hardcore. Seriously, I may be dedicated enough to log on when texted (while not being busy in RL) but to sit there online and willling to wait 72 hours for a Dragon to pop is a whole new level of "hardcore".

If responding to a call of logging on is half retarded then camping a boss is fully retarded. I'm dying to get out of this limited content cluster fuck, Sky will see to that more or less until Kunark comes out. So no I'm not all butt hurt about Div getting Vox, losing bosses to competing guild was a reality waiting to happen. It's just the manner of how we lost is what bothers me and how the future raiding guild will evolve.

This btw isn't an "IB" only issue but something all raiding guilds need to consider. Is mass zerg recruiting and having 15 players in all boss zones 24/7 the next step in raid evolution? Are we going to be doing camp check for bosses in OOC? You might think this is an exaggeration but I can see how all this could unfold within the next 3months or so. My stance is to discourage camping, having boss mobs being reduced to a camp check just doesn't seem right in so many levels. I don't have answers to 'fix' this issue, the only thing I can think of is to REALLY increase the time variance to such a retarded extent that camping would not be viable (that would mean less bosses for the whole server).

So don't think of this post as being all bitter over losing a dragon. I'm happy for Divinity (those that know me online know I'm a reasonable guy). The zerg doesn't bother me, the camp certainly does. I've said my piece so troll away.
