Where's magna, i have this cool fun-fact.

The Talmud teaches this timeline:

Quote:
Six thousand years is the duration of "the world".

2,000 years of chaos,
2,000 years of Torah,
2,000 years of the days of the Messiah.

Then 1000 years of peace on the 7th day.
Jewish tradition, based on the Torah and later rabbinic calculations (e.g., Seder Olam), places Abraham’s birth around 1948 BCE (give or take 52 years? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] )

In 8 years, Jesus (the messiah) will have died 2000 years ago.

When Jesus returns, the new testament says we will live in a golden age of peace for 1000 years.

Rabbinic voices discourage date-setting—“Cursed are those who calculate the end” so I hope you knew the risk reading this post.
