Form of the Great Bear prevents Slam Skill

the shaman spell Form of the Great Bear is preventing me from using Slam on my shaman.

I am not sure if this is a bug or working as intended (cannot find any info on this and played a warrior back in 1999-2002) but it doesn't make much sense (if that matters [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]).
