Forgot all about trigonometry or whichever discipline it is.

Trying to get the height of a minivan (at ramp level) which have a ramp for wheelchair.

Heres the data that i have,

Ramp lenght = 52 inch, angle of ramp at floor level is 12,5 degree.
Anyone can calculate the height for me.

Thx in advance,
i am pretty confident we have people able to resolve tis pretty easily, i am too old for that [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

sin(x) = opposite / hypotenuse

sin(12.5) = h / 52

h = 52 * sin(12.5)

h = 11.255
