![]() I understand the strict no multiboxing rule and for what it's worth, I agreed that it's the lesser of two evils in the situation. That said, I was wondering if there were any rules for multiple logins played independently? For example, if I want two toons on different accounts so that they CAN be online at the same time if a friend comes over (obviously with an IP exception), is this OK? A big part of my enjoyment of vanilla EQ was the nerdy LAN party stuff. I had two accounts largely for this reason.
Even if it's too much of a gray area to allow two concurrent connections for accounts both belonging to one person but being played by two different human beings, is it a gray area to, say share accounts? Let's say I have my main on account 1, and I am levelling an alt on account 2 to share with a friend, is that against the rules? Sorry if this has been answered before, but I want to tread lightly because it seems like there's really strict enforcement around this rule and I don't want to violate it. | ||

![]() First you ask for the IP Exception, once its conceeded as long they do not see you playing weird bot alike, you should be safe, but i bet they watch you more than normal people.

![]() Long as you have two chars on played by two players whether you are miles apart or sitting next to each other it doesn't matter.

![]() Cool - thanks. I don't have a problem being watched because I legitimately have no plans to multibox. I ain't that hardcore. I just want to be sure I don't get a ban because I'm a dumbass who did something against the rules unintentionally.
