Dear diary, socks and kitchen floors are a bad combination whilst eating cheerios. I had my butt against the kitchen counter and in slow motion horror I saw my feet slip out from under me and my whole bowl of cereal plopped right in my lap as the soy milk jettisoned 5ft away. I can only imagine that will be the high point of my day.

Oh speaking of captain's logs! I really wanna find this guy's journal, Donald Crowhurst, if it exists somewhere publicly. He went insane on a solo sail around the world competition, wrote 25,000 words on his thoughts on life, and threw himself overboard. His body was never found. I bet that's a good read.

Admittedly, she had the bodystyle of a woman that I'd always wanted. I was used to big women, so a thin one was something new to me. Alas. it didn't last, and the statute of limitations had passed on me being able to claim being part of what drove her crazy.
