Help twinking my monk

Hey guys, coming back after an extended absence and decided I want to roll a monk. I have a set of cured silk and 17k to spend, so I was thinking of picking up an AC/SoS and a PB with either a fbss or schw and some hp rings. What do you guys think? Are there any new Velious weapons I should be looking at?

Wu's Quivering staff is a super cheap 10-20.
Imbued fighters staff till whenever? Also pretty cheap.

I ended up buying a Peacebringer, AC and SoS. Trying to find a decent leather chest to replace my robe of living fungus as I don't really like the robe graphic lol.

Make sure you have magical boots, or your going to have a bad time. I recommend Kobold Hide Boots from Sol A, but any magic boots works. You cant kick magical beings with cured silk shoes. I would also recommend just buying one 1H weapon and rolling with it plus fist, because Peacebringer is the answer pre epic. Monk epic isn't hard, you'll get it in early 50s even if its you first character.

Staff of Shielding - 1.5-2k (1h)

Fist - Free (1h)

Peace Bringer - 3k - (2h)

Robe of Living Fungus (600pp) (chest)

Kobald Hide Boots - (300pp) (feet)

55 HP 5 AC rings x 2 (500pp)

Hooded Black Cloak (1.5k) (back)

Crown of Froglok Kings (1k)

Flowing Black Silk Sash (5k????) (waist/haste)

Azure Sleeves (100pp?) (arms)

Fill in the rest with whatever crap you find along the way - this will carry you to 46+ in both style and comfort.

I didn't even think about magical boots, I'll look for a pair of the kobold boots.

I plan on hitting the xp hard this weekend with the bonus so hopefully I'll get to 25 soon, would love the help in Dalnir, since many don't want to go there.

Is Peacebringer really that much better than IFS that its worth almost twice the price?

According to the dps chart I found floating around it wasn't that much higher, though I only paid 3k for my PB.

Keep in mind you will need money to buy "pipes" for your epic as well. You can get Chardok pipe for about 3k, and I would suggest camping KC pipe while pulling for hands group. Worst case scenario you can buy both for probably 7k - I have seen a double MQ and it worked fine, as long as you turn in the ribe last you will get the end robe.

But you absolutely have to buy the Chardok pipe, no one groups there due to Proxy/AoE gayness. If you go camp at the entrance and get on the WTB pipe list i would imagine you can haggle them down to 2k and justify it by saying they wont even have to MQ, its just straight cash.
