About the time I defeated Detoxx in a duel...

People have been coming up to me on the streets asking me to tell this tale. I'm sick of talking to filthy peasants like Bruize Lee (petitioned for non-RP) of <Taking>, so let's get the record straight.

YES I defeated Detoxx in a duel.

It was in Nagafen's Lair in Sol B. I had been nobly attempting to secure FTE on Ragefire (with my retired pal Theraflu) for the good of a poor halfling cleric who was having to mana rez. At the time, the ignoble Greedlords Pint (aka Ginfizzie) & Detoxx were contesting.

I'm not one to judge. I chatted these fellows up. They told me about how evil BDA is and how I should leave. Detoxx extended an invitation to TMO and Pint told me that Asgard was filled with super cool hip people. Well, BDA might be evil... I'm not one to judge.

One thing led to another and Detoxx ultimately started calling BDA officers n!gger lovers. I am very good friends with Kekephee, who is a black man, and so I said "that's racist." Detoxx got up in my grill making threats and talking smack.

Well, I'm not one to judge. But I am one to kill. Detoxx started getting hot about fighting me. Back in those days I wore Indicolite mostly, and had my epics. Detoxx, the Greedlord, taunted me in his full cobalt and VP toys.

I accepted the challenge and we squared off. I wielded my epic with both hands and jousted, but he quickly complained about "how jousting is gay" and told me we should fight toe-to-toe, no manuevers, just auto-attack, kick, and disarm. (Because that's skill, right?)

Long story short, Detoxx fell. His weak half-elf blood pooled on the sulfur-stained floor of Nagafen's Lair. With his last words he begged for a rez. I obliged. Detoxx then started complaining that he had "used the wrong weapons" and that we should have a "re-match."

The word "rematch" and the phrase "used the wrong weapons" translate to "i am a pathetic weakling coward," in halfling. So I agreed with him verbally, but declined his future duel attempts.

I'm sorry I don't have any screenshots for you. It was such an easy fight and I cared so little about defeating this weak half elf that I didn't think to capture it. Perhaps Detoxx has the logs and can post it for us. This happened about a year ago now!
