Default Server Down for a few

Anyone know why? They said only ten minutes, just wondering what's going on.

Right. What does that mean? Respawn of mobs and updates or what exactly?

Server reset generally means they take the server down and restart it to patch in code/database changes.

This usually results in mob spawns and merchants and such being reset.

This is just a reset for database maintenance, no patch.

I love how people on these forums really read into these type of things. Maybe someone in the server pissed on the motherboard and needs to replace it. Who cares, Rogean said it's maintenance and nothing more needs to be said. If there was some type of patch or update, you can bet it would have been said on the front page. I posted that at around the same time Rogean did. It wasn't like I just didn't read it. It wasn't there when I posted.

No... I'm reiterating what you said and asked.

Last time the database went down it resulted in everything repopping; am wondering whether it'll happen again on a reboot. It's a valid question :P
