Question Regen Cap?

Is there a regen cap?
Does Racial Regen apply to the regen cap if there is one.
Does Form of the Great Bear apply to the regen cap?
Aura of Battle, does it stack with it self and if it does it apply to the regen cap?

Help, seeking information! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

An Iskar with a Fungi Tunic and spell Regen will regain health faster than a Human with a Fungi and spell Regen. Beyond that, I really don't know the inner workings of it.

I would imagine Great Bear = Spell regen = not stacking with Regrowth

Aura of Battle = item regen = not stacking with Fungi

So from purely observational evidence, you can have racial regen + item regen + spell regen and beyond that it most likely will not stack

EDIT: Since we are using the titanium client it would make sense for their to be a cap since in later expansions there are AA's to increase how much you can regen. Is it possible to hit that cap with the items we have available? No idea

I had read there is an item regen cap of 15 total. I have nto been able to test this out personally as the items I would need are out of reach for me. Racial and spell regens are separate from this and not affected by any caps other than what will stack in your buffs.

I think the Regen cap should be 35. I'm pretty sure that's what it was in luclin at least. AoB definitely should stack though

I PM'd The Wise Rygar on a similar matter and this was his response, hopefully he doesn't mind if I share it.

...Only caveat is there is limit to how much you can regen from worn / racial items. I don't remember what it is, but I'm pretty sure Fungi + Iksar racial puts you at the cap for regen...

So by the sounds of things.. Regen cap is 30 from worn items but racial regen also applies to this cap.

---
So a hypothetical Iksar/troll is +12 standing at level 60.. +15 with a fungi = 27...
Then would an additional worn regen of +3 or greater put it at 30 while standing?

And while a 60 iksar/troll is sitting +18, with a fungi +15,= 30(cap?), Any additional worn regen would have no affect?

IE: it may be benefitary to have another worn regen other than a fungi due to standing/FD only being +12/+14. So one is always at worn regen cap.

I too would just like a straight answer on this. If I could have a regen cap, that means I could stop wearing that ugly fungi tunic, and put some other neat BP on.

wow guys a thread with actual value!!1

So let me try to summarize what has been said so far:
Naethyn: worn regen items dont stack with each other (aka fungi + AoB)
Spyder73: Regen types dont stack (2 worn regen items dont stack, 2 regen spell effects dont stack)
Veleria: Worn Item regen cap is 15 (aka fungi alone puts you at cap, maybe why other worn regen effects dont stack)
Lurk: total regen cap is 35 (from all sources)
Baler: (post 2) Worn? regen cap is 30, but racial regen can surpass this (no mention of how spell regen applies)

I dont think the answer has been found yet but im very interested

Lvl 55 shammy with fungi tunic and staff on: standing regen 36. With bear I have standing regen 38. Sitting with all of the above is 44 hp per tick.

Regen breakdown:
Fungi bp: 15 (worn)
Fungi staff: 15 (same as regrowth, spell)
Bear: 2 (spell)
Troll regen: 6 standing and 12 sitting (Racial)

So bear stacks with regrowth, the total regen cap is'nt 35 per tick.

I have also heard that worn regen is capped at 15, but I cant test that.
