I dunno , but they sure dont now lol , wasnt even like I got 1 shot by werewolf , they just stood there. They usually attack anything else that gets anywhere near the tower , even if it isnt attacking me

the guards are pretty tough too , here by the gypsies , I remember some of the bigger griffenes owning them. Now they kill the griffon with over 80% of their health

You've stumbled on to one of quirks that lead to many speculating on the lore of the werewolves in the karanas, which is actually that some of the guards are werewolves themselves. So neither of them will attack each other.

I wouldn't attack a werewolf without silver/magic weapons either.

There is evidence that guards in west karana did attack them. I would expect this to affect north karana as well. I’ll make this change if we can get that evidence from zam werewolf page documented for future reference in this thread.

No evidence so far on any of the NK pages, but other zones indicate that guards would attack werewolves.

I think it varies, One chased me to the guards at the toll booth tonight, took all their cracks and killed me before they took it to half health, lv 11 Ranger buffed, the fight lasted about 40-45 seconds of guard bashing.

I was lvl 12 ranger in WK, I was at first Guard tower when WW appeared (ne conned red of course). There were a few lvl 16-18 about. They and the guards started melee and when the WW was 1/2 way of HP I stepped in to get a slug or two in, I thought! He dropped me like a sack of potatoes before I knew what hit me. I didn't even get a good look at him. (one of the hi levels sent mw a tell, sorry you died)
