Time for Teal, the ReAl dAeL!!! ❤️
- Characters only live 3 months and become ghosts permanently afterwards.
- Ghost characters are non-kos and non-interactive with the gameworld, they can click and open doors though, and have their own chat channels, can't talk to living pcs unless the living pcs have spells to see-undead or ghosttalk
- You can bequeath one single item via one of the lawyer NPCs in the town halls of the main cities. Doing this requires depositing other items as a 'tax' so you must give away 10 or so magical lvl 40+ items to the npc that will never be recovered.
- A command to check how much time you have left, /pulse or something, 'you have 1 day left on your journey'
- Gear has diminishing returns the farther away in level you are from when it drops, so an item that drops off a level 30 mob, does nothing for a lvl 19 character, has 1% effect on a lvl 20 character, and 50% effect on a lvl 30 character. And full effect on a lvl 40 character.
- nonmagical and tradeskilled items always have full effect
- Every race and class combination has an epic 0.5 quest that rewards a decent but classicly not OP item and lets you then progress past lvl 20
- Everything is droppable
- tradeskills level 10x faster and fail less often and cost 25x more
- enchanted, vials etc or is vendor bought
- Resists on even cons and higher is 5x and every mob has a buff to MR and other resists to varrying degrees exp mobs not so much, hard/named mobs, guards of named mobs, boss mobs tons of MR, your only going to have a 5% chance to hit a raid mob with anything. It will be nigh impossible to solo regular end game boss mobs like archmagus/lord.
- TEAL colored (low con but still gives exp) mobs like -8 lvls will have much reduced resists/ac/atk and should be soloable by everyone
- City mobs liek Sir Lucan and other guild leaders and masters will have more normal stats and still be mini raid bosses, spawn more regularly like every 6 hrs, have big faction normalized hits and drop more classicly less oP normalized classic loots like I talked about above as a sort of end game quest/faction system which will flag you for pvp for 1 day when you attack them.
- Attacking a dragon or other raid boss will flag you for pvp for 1 day
- Healing or buffing a player who is raid flagged will flag you for pvp for 1 day
- There will be teams based on good/evil/race and you will be able to do quests to join a neutral team. Teams will effect who you can pvp with once u get flagged in combat with npcs.
- PvP will be with all level ranges and anyone can attack a pvp flagged player if u do u are flagged for 1 day and all pvp stats are normalized so a lvl 1 and lvl 60 use the same stats and skill points in pvp regardless of gear and levels, maybe we could give the higher lvl player a 5% bonus in to hit/defense/resists
- Pumice is instant cast and stacks up to 40 charges.
