![]() The no mana from pvp duels was caused by a guy named Raistin flying though levels. He had a stern talking to from some GMs about it.
Lady D rocked tho! NPC deaths was different and not treated as duel deaths. On here tho as a caster, you don't respawn with full mana.

![]() I do appologize, apparently it was 2hs, piercing, and landed finally on 1hs... I'll post the db reference but im pretty sure gordon may be correct.
Official_EverQuest_Forums [ 11:14 AM EDT ] - Ogamok Gordon had the following to say here on the Official Everquest Message Boards What we *really* need is a "polearm" skill. We really don't like the idea of paladins wielding daggers or rapiers, but really wouldn't have a problem with them using lances and polearms. Unfortunately, new skills aren't technically feasible at this time. In any case, the change from 2HS to piercing was a mistake, and it's been switched to 1HS to go live with the next patch. -Gordon pulled from a meta-search using LawTSI's LAW50 EDD function and http://web.archive.org/web/200006220...assCookie=true

![]() It certainly would appear those database entries indicate 3 separate changes. Starting as 2A (2-h slash?), going to 1C (1-h pierce?) then finally 1A (1-h slash?).

![]() I believe that to be the case, however the "erroneous change" is what has me confused... i see the statement saying it was a mistake to change it from
2hs to pierce ( i believe this was on the test server). But it could have very-well been a pierceing weapon in the game... if so tho wouldn't it be 2h piercing... what was the Messenger of the Queen? I feel that the items may had gotten switched on the test server and then corrected.

As for the erroneous change what he is saying is that it definitely originated as a 2hs weapon and was accidentally changed to 1 handed piercing instead of 1 handed slashing as they had intended. The 1 handed slash change was implemented pending the next patch. The only thing that can really be argued is whether it was ever a piercing weapon on Live before it went from 2-hs to 1-hs.

http://web.archive.org/web/200006110...llakhazam.com/ It wasn't labeled as 2hp; it just said 'piercing'. Curious as to how long it was 2hs before becoming piercing. I only remember piercing, then 1hs, so that's anecdotal failure on my part I guess. Only used the weapon briefly due to it being an incredible stamina killer. Since paladins didn't have piercing skill, did Wurmslayer use slashing skill? That's what I recall, but I can't remember if I got skill ups.
