Default P1999 Street Team

We all want a more populated server and more people to play with but it seems the only way people are finding out about this game is word of mouth and their friends trying to convince them to play.

Does anyone wanna get together and make a project1999 street team? I found a site where we can get shirts for $4.66 each if we buy 80+. If anyone in the bay area is interested, I'd like some help putting up flyers and passing information to help the server grow!

What are your design's for it? Wouldn't that run into legality issues by promoting the server or is that only if the working team does it.

Something unaffiliated with us isn't a problem, but unfortunately it cannot be advertised on these forums, which would be a major road block to any successful campaign such as this.

You'd think it'd be alot easier to find a picture of a fat guy wearing an Everquest T-shirt.

You say we all want more population but I don't think that's true.

Personally, I'm happy with the current population. There are always plenty of people to group with and plenty of activity in dungeons. I've had more of an issue with 'all camps being taken' in a zone, then 'not being able to find people to group with'.

So to be clear if I go out on my own and make 80 t-shirts that say Project 1999 and Classic Everquest with the website address on them this is okay so long as I am not affiliated with the staff and I don't mention it on the forums? (hehe)

I'm from the Bay Area and I wouldn't mind helping although I'm not sure how passing around flyers would help much. Would you be going to specific events? What are more details of what you are thinking? Having a T-shirt would be fun though! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
