![]() Is there any reason the server admin couldn't set up a rule that blocks packets from all IP addresses except those that are whitelisted on whatever router/gateway appliance is being used?
Of course, each individual user would have to submit their IP address to the admins, and it might be a bit labor intensive, but that might be one way to get around these ridiculous DDoS attacks perhaps? | ||

Imagine a door to your house and 500 black guys are standing in front of it. The white guys can't even get close to the door let alone getting in. | ||

![]() the IP could be white listed by the login server when you login.... requiring you to be in game to keep the ip active to talk to the server.
