Default Grouping Mechanics

Does anyone know the exact numbers for how much xp you get from a mob with 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 members in a party? I remember something like having a 6th party member is a xp freebie, but I don't know the rest of them.

The full group xp came after kunark, maybe even velious. Not sure if it went in here or not though.

I think the exp rules for groups on this server follow the later rules, not the classic ones.
Which is good news for hybrids with wicked exp penalties.

Does anyone have specific numbers though? It's a pretty important reference to have for group oriented games.

20% bonus for 6th member comes to mind but I never did know exactly how that works. I would imagine it has to be 20% per person in order for it to be even remotely noticeable.

Somebody even geekier than me might be able to find the info.

I found this:

http://strategywiki.org/wiki/EverQue...ce_calculation

Looks complicated.... eyes started bleeding..... had to look away.
Let me know if it answers your questions.

For those that didn't want to look, here's a summary:

1 = 1.0 GB (Group Bonus)
2 = 1.2
3 = 1.4
4 = 1.6
5 = 1.8
6 = 2.16

(Assuming these are the same bonuses implemented on P1999.)

Thanks guinea, that's dope!

Looks like for that 6th member instead of a 20% boost, you get 36% (almost double). VERY useful information [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Word homes!

When it comes to exp groups, it's always worth it to try an get a 6th in your group even if you are doing fine with 5.
